September 2011 was where everything started. My first visit to Codee — exploring together with her father, visiting places like the Black Country Living Museum, Cadbury World and the West Midlands Safari Park. The two of us also visited National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham.
Beautiful memories — but back then, I had no idea what would grow from it.
Now, 14 years later, we’ve been living together in the Netherlands for 13 years. What started as a special meeting has grown into a shared life as best friends.
Our decision to live together changed everything. Not just our surroundings, but the way we live, support, and understand each other.
And maybe that’s the most beautiful part of all: that one meeting can grow into a place that feels like home.
