This morning, I walked through Molyvos, Lesbos, starting at the old castle on top of the hill and slowly making my way down through the narrow streets. It was still early and quiet. Only the sound of birds and a distant scooter filled the air.
I walked at a slow pace, camera in hand. Everywhere I looked, I saw beautiful details: colorful shutters, old wooden doors, flowers in simple tin pots. Every corner revealed something new. I took many photos—of stone houses, small alleys, and views of the deep blue sea.
Sometimes, through the gaps between the houses, I could see far into the distance, all the way to the Turkey coastline. The light fell perfectly on the rooftops and walls, and the scent of flowers and herbs lingered in the air.
The lower I got, the busier it became. Tourists were slowly making their way up. But I kept my own pace, taking the time to look and enjoy.
Down by the harbor, I turned around and looked back up. The castle stood high above everything. For a moment, I felt like I was part of this special place.
Molyvos is alive—in colors, scents, and stories. And today, I captured a small piece of it with my camera… and in my heart. 🌿📸
