Lunch in Anaxos

On a sunny morning, I took the tourist train from Petra, Lesbos to Anaxos, Lesbos—a relaxed ride past olive groves and small houses. It was quiet, and the views along the way instantly gave me that holiday feeling.

Once in Anaxos, I walked straight to the long sandy beach. The sea was calm and clear blue. I took a walk along the shore and captured some photos of the view.

The village itself is small but charming, with cozy taverns and flowers in every garden. Everything feels just a bit more peaceful here compared to Petra.

After a lovely lunch by the sea, I decided to walk back. This time not along the beach, but via the main road. Along the way, I passed horses, goats, and sheep behind fences, and of course many olive trees. It was warm, but the walk gave me a different perspective of the landscape.

Back in Petra, it felt like I had made a small journey. Anaxos is close by, yet it has its own atmosphere—a place where time slows down, and you can simply look, listen, and enjoy. 🌿🌊📸
