A yellow weather warning coloured the day, and even the trains needed a moment to get going. Winter made itself known during a walk via the harbour, where the water lay still and cold beside me.
From there, I headed towards Dronten station and back to the centre again, surrounded by winter skies and frozen edges. Everything moved slowly — just like the day itself — and eventually, the trains found their rhythm again.
Walks like this feel different. Quieter, sharper, more aware. The cold air, the stillness, the subtle details that only winter seems to reveal.

5 januari 2026 ❄️ Code oranje De trein gaf het op, dus wij gingen het Dorpsbos in (Dronten).Sneeuw, water en stilte.
Met meer sneeuw op komst volgt er de komende dagen vast nog een rondje — en die foto’s deel ik dan natuurlijk weer 📸❄️
